It looks like it's been cleaned/brushed across the date and up to the Y in liberty.

I only soaked it in Acetone overnight, I did not do anything except dried it with tissue paper. The coin looks good in hand and the darkened area is caused by the light.

Melt value coin - cleaned - scratches from the scrubbing visible in photo. A coin like this can look shiny/nice in hand, but the marks left on the surface which removed microscopic layer of the metal ruins the value.

Flashback is obscuring much of the surface detail and may well be distorting the images to a great extent.
