So these are 2 different 1957 D'S I have with this same variety whatever it is. Is there a reference for this already ? Is it an error? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

No DDO,die chip and kinda common that year.

For sure a decent-size die chip on the 9 and a tiny die chip starting on the 5. That might be also what is happening to the die over at the top of the 1.

The "1" may have taken a hit that pushed some metal out into the field.

Die chip NE of the '1'. Contact mark on the top of the '195' from taking a hit on that area.

These are two different coins they couldn't have both takin a hit in the exact same place...

I was wondering about bottom picture didn't have that spot under 5 & moved sorta under 9

Yes--and so if that is a die chip near the top of the number 1, then many would have been made with that same pattern.
