Hi Everybody I'm an amateur coin collector and coin roll hunter I came across this I found it interesting the bubble ring on reverse is similar to 1980s pennies not common with shield pennies but the rim caught my eye theres no zinc color at all completely copper colored I noticed smaller typee on the reverse but any help would be appreciated thank you all.

to CCF. 1st pic looks like PMD and the reverse looks like Ridge Ring, aka a worn die.

Thank you for the replies I've seen this on just about every 1980s coin but not on a single shield penny I've come across that's why I thought this coin to be a curious one I definitely considered PMD on the obverse but every damage on a zinc seems to have a gray zinc tone this is purely copper and wasn't easy to spot at first Thank you for the welcome and I'll continue the hunt good day all #9786;#9786;&

To CCF! I see damage and a worn die issue. See my tutorial on Die Deterioration, for more information, in my signature box below.

Below the shield area might be the Ridge Ring for the reverse dies as they are on the hammer dies like the 1980's Zincolns. So the cause maybe the same.
