Now I want to sell a few items on ebay. I want to put it all up for auction with a start of $ 0.99,but I'm not sure it's a good idea. I am afraid that my lots may go at too low a price. What do you think?
Rest in Peace

That's the chance we all have to take . I think it all depends on what coins you are listing .You have a good chance of getting high bids if your coins aren't low grade common ones .The keys and semi-keys will always produce a high bid .

if you are worried about selling too low, start them at the minimum price you would sell them for.

I think it's always worth making an initial price of $ 1, this fuels interest in the lot.
The fact is that I sell a few more products besides coins. And I would not say that I have something interesting, I have pretty ordinary coins. Many of them I just want to sell even for a low price, but unfortunately there are no people who want to buy it even for $ 1

ebay fees along with Paypal fees can add up. Paypal charges 30 cents plus a percentage. That 30 cents makes things that go low bring in too little. Also, remember how ebay works, two good bidders are needed to get a good price. Only one will not get pushed to a high value.

If you are not in a hurry, do Buy It Now w/ Best Offer. List it for what you think it's worth, and if you don't get any interest, you can always lower the price later. ebay is a bit strange these days, with most states requiring sales tax, and on the other hand people are sheltering in place and hanging out online and buying. I am usually disappointed when I auction something w/a .99 start, but that's me.
