Can't see any toes, and significant wear on eagle and shield. I'm going EF-40.

Bruce I see your point about the trace of luster , but most of the features on obverse can't be from weak strike .

In hand, the coin definitely has luster, but some of the high points do show a lack of detail.

I just find it hard to believe that an XF coin could retain this sort of luster. I'll stand at AU-50 or better, too bad we'll not resolve this!
