Hello, I found this Vermont quarter in my change today, (pictured on right) and I was wanting peoples option if it is an error if so, what kind? As you can see the towards the top-right has fat rim compared to bottom-left that seems to have hardly any rim.

Looks like it is a 2-3% off-center strike, it is an error, probably worth about 35-40 cents in that condition, but only to certain collectors

The edge of the coin looks normal to me I compared it to another normal quarter.

Yeah that's what I was thinking that it was off center, I'm new to the whole coin business so I thought I would ask. Thank you for your answer.

Okay, thank you very much for that.

A picture of the obverse would help. It could be a MAD (Misaligned Die) issue.

Will need a picture of the obverse (front side with Washington) in order to determine if it is an off-center strike or just a MAD as noted above. More than likely just a MAD but who knows?

Definitely a Mis-aligned die (MAD). This one isn't worth more than face however. For it to carry a premium, you would have to have the devices falling off.

I would describe this as a MAD as well given the obverse.

Or as an adolescent Yoda would say -- A die which has been misaligned.
