I don't usually look much at 1963-D rolls, but starting to run out of things to search with nothing come in right now so figured I'd pay more attention to what I have left.

This roll had a pair of DDO eyelids I couldn't attribute, but then there were 16 DDO-001 in there so I'd call that a darn good roll! A second roll had 8 DDO-003 in it.

What's going on with Lincoln's cheek? Does anyone else see that line?

Kudos & most excellent roll.
I picked up some rolls of 63 D's a couple of months ago specifically to look for that variety but nope, nothing at all.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Yes sir. That's a fun one to find. As far as the cheek goes this is a lower grade ms coin. It took a few hits but is still considered uncirculated. Nice coin batts.

From what I know 63-d die 10 is the rarest, but this (die 1) is actually one of my favorites in the LMC series. I've found 2 in pocket change in EF/AU respectively. They don't often come up in nice MS. Great finds!

So what make this a DDO? I think I see the split in the top tail of the six?

There's an entirely second 3 shifted to the south of the primary 3.
