I'm pretty sure this was struck through some kind of toothpick shaped anomaly. Also some type of like lamination error on the left side reverse along edge by United. Also looks to me to be some kind of hair or wire on reverse running through state. Almost snakelike. I'm in process of taking better pictures. Ordered à scope which should be here today sometime.

@rb3, that is an interesting coin to be sure. I'm a little skeptical of it being stuck through for two reasons. First, the linear marks seem to be directly opposite each other. To me that suggests that something squished both sides simultaneously. Second, pattern on the rev of the linear marks being separated means that there would need to be three separate pieces struck through on the same coin *and* two of them somehow lined up perfectly. That would be odd (but not impossible). On the other hand, I'm not seeing much metal "smushed" around which is more typical of strike-throughs.

My best guess is that this is all just damage.

Is it possibly look like someone could have counterfit it? For it to just be PMD that would have had to be the most perfect set of circumstances for it to be on the exact opposite side, as if it were done on purpose. Could I be mistaking in there? Because I just started collecting and really have crammed a bunch of knowledge in the past 2 weeks and it's not all sorted into the right folders yet in my brain you know? Lol

Can't tell from the images provided what is coin on. A closer view might show more.

Possible, but highly unlikely. You can create matching damage on both sides of a coin with jawed tools, such as tin snips. I'm not saying that the damage to your coin was caused by tins snips but rather I think that an explanation of damage is more likely than an explanation of multiple strike throughs.

It looks like the coin was squeezed with some type of pliers. It appears that both sides are pressed inwards opposite each other. How can I tell?

With an overlay. You can see the opposite sides were altered. So it is PSD. (Post Strike Damage)
