Another-1963-D-DDO-Cent I wasn't going to post this coin because it has been through A world war. I found this coin CRHing.from the Credit Union. It looks great in person, I hope you folks can see the 3 and the extra 3. I decided to post it when I saw tropicalbats post this morning.

Interesting, is Lincoln's head also a strike-through error, or is that just PMD? I don't see any raised material around it.

Thats a good question about Mr Lincoln's head. It could be struck through but the poor coin has so much damage I did n't even see his head. It was so hard to see the double that I almost threw it back in to the seen pile.

So how many dies were affected this this? One, Two or more:
1963-D DDO-001

AKA Wexler WDDO-001

1963-D DDO-011
http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...3DDDO011.htm

1963 DDO-011

AKA 1963 DDO-007
http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...3PDDO007.htm

So at lease 3 different dies that year. The Philly one is a proof DDO. Maybe more of them out there yet to be discovered.

I have not seen a DDO 1963 like this one. Can you get some better pictures? Most are pointed and angled a lil down with other parts of the 3 visible. As coop stated there Might be more out there. This could be a NEW one more pictures please also closer thanks.

Hi folks. Coop the die is ddo-001. It also might be a struck through on Lincolns head. I wish I could get better photos but I'm really struggling with mt photo set up. I have another coin that is struck through wire. I can't download the photos so I haven't been able to post it.
