1955 D Lincoln Repunched Mint Mark / RPM ?

Looks like an rpm to me, but not sure which one. Also, the reverse has a small die chip. coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 11/03/2008 09:25 am 1955S-1MM-002 - One of the most common wheat RPMs, this one seems to pop up at least once in every wheat bag I search. I have at least a roll of these in various circulated grades, most EF or above, since 1955 Lincolns didn't circulate widely past 1959. This one and it's similar buddy 1955D-1MM-004 are VERY common in all grades below full-red mint state. Value is around $1 for upper end circualted examples. Report this Post to the Staff

I've been through millions of coins over a period of more than 25 years. I have seen a large number of RPMs and doubled dies and pretty much know what to 'expect' and what's really scarce.
