I got this 1985 P LMC DDO-003 class 2 today and am thrilled to add it to the collection. It is in pretty good shape considering it appears to be a very late die state. The die gouge by the bottom right leg of the N in cent was my die marker.

That's awesome Jim! Did you get it in a trade or was it a find?

In what would be considered a trade.

That is a pretty nice variety. Congrats.
It wasn't even on my radar.

While it appears to be a DDO, it is not 001 or 003:

Note the two notches on the 003 and Jim's coin. The 003 has a notch on the top of the '5'. Jim's coin has a notch on the bottom of the '5'. Not a match.

Not sure coop, the die gouge by the bottom leg of the N in CENT is a match.

Markers mean nothing with out the variety. Clearly two different dies with the notching. With out the side by side, I'd missed the differences.

Im with coop. doesn't look like DDO-003. Its possibly WDDO-003.

That bulged area below your N doesn't match up with the die gouge below N of DDO-003
Scroll down and see if you can match an markers on WDDO-003. It look like a possible die gouge behind Lincolns should on your full obverse pic, but I cant tell for sure. Is the bust of yours doubled also?
