I am new have a coin and cannot tell monk mark I thought they were S or D

Unless it's a key date (1921) and based on the condition it looks like it's only worth melt (it's silver value)

A definite "S" (San Francisco) since none were struck in Denver that year nor did Philadelphia have a mint mark.
