I am trying to figure out if this 1824 NS One Penny Token is an NS-2A4 or an NS-2A5. I am not quite sure about the K in Token if it is double cut or not, and what grade would you say it is? Your help would be appreciated!

Thanks

MG

Yes, the K is double cut. The top of the lower right serif looks like it is stepped or pointed.

Another marker is to compare the stem. For the 2A4 it is longer, almost double than the 2A5, and curved to point at the 2 in the date. The 2A5 is short and stubby ending above the 8.

Yours is NS-2A5, Co 264, PNS-205, R6

Thank Gene that is a great help. I was not quite sure because those are quite new to me.
As for the grade, am I safe to say in the "F" range

Thanks
