I think it is far to big to be considered a Cud but obviously something happened. I know the coin is in bad shape but that can't be damage because it actually covers the letters instead of smashing into them. Please let me know thoughts. Thanks Chris

@h24, there is a lot of circulation wear on this nickel so it is hard to know for sure, but @john1 is right that when we see the rim rolled over like this, we often conclude that it is from being a Dryer Coin.

I think it's a Dryer Coin that was returned to circulation.
