C-3 variety . The obverse really holds this one down. Better reverse. Maybe only an 8 - perhaps a 10?

It's a Cohen-3 (C-3).
The second "8" in the date is the give-away.
Rarity-1

As for grade, I see the obverse as a VG-10 and the reverse as an F-12.
That will generally mean the coin will grade VF-10.
Most of the time a coin's grade depends on the obverse to the TPG's.
EAC works under a different set of guidelines so your coin might get a split grade from them.

As for Die State, I'd say 1.0.

And for price, I'd say correct for catalog value.

I'll say VG-10 as well. Can't really tell much about the surface detail.

decent planchet for a drape bust. obverse weak strike F12 range. reverse close to VF20. strong LIBERY, hair tie and date. lettering on reverse and bow are fairly strong with decent rims. i'll net it at F15

just goes to show you - different pictures and lighting can really make a difference. I now say F12 - F15. Not sure if it's been cleaned.
