I found this 2016-P Nickel while rummage through the change jar the other day and I'm wondering if it is significant enough to look into. There are 3 cuds/chips between 330-530 on the obverse. Let me know what you think. I can get more pictures later, if necessary (I am currently working).

Such examples have come up several times in recent months. I've not seen a agreed-upon explanation. They're not Cuds since Cuds also involve the rim.

Also if they were Cuds they would be taller than the rim. Looks more like struck through debris on that area. (bit of metal fell on to your coin and it was struck onto your coin)

Ok thanks for the explanation. Is there any value other than curiosity?

Not really, but you might want to save it as an educational piece for a new collector.
