1956 D Penny Die Break? Or What, Right After God?

So what you are seeing is probably scraping that was moved to the northern area of the coin. PSD. Report this Post to the Staff
10-Penny New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 05/04/2020 10:57 pm Mystery solved at higher mag...Now you can plainly see that it is a chip off the rim. (my new microscope!) Also you can see, I easily flicked it off with a small nail. I was surprised about how easily the surface was stratched too. Example of how not to handle a coin if it is valulable. :) But, this was a regular ol' Wheat penny. Report this Post to the Staff
