Doubled die. You can see the notching at the top of the T. Is it actually your coin though, or just a test like Tanman points out because you're frustrated that we said some of your other finds weren't legit?

I wonder why OP did that? maybe he/she is testing us? Good catch Tanman, it is the same image you can identify it by the damage on the upper left bar of the T. That's pretty lame!  Edited by Chase007

I would say almost certainly, Chase. This person has posted a ton of questions and has gotten a little testy when people have told her/him that the coins are not errors or varieties.

Maybe its the same person that spent $50 on his '96 D? quarter to be attributed... if so, possible ulterior motive was a test to see just how good you guys really are at differentiating between MD & DDO's/DDR's. |

Also, can we just give a hand to Tanman for catching that so fast?  This guy tried to post in bad faith to expose the "experts" here, and ended up only proving just how knowledgeable they are. Talk about a backfire. Edited by SamCoin
