Do These Normally Turn This Color? (1943 D Nickel)

T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 04/27/2020 06:54 am Brett , when you have a question about a coin you have to show us full coin photos of obverse and reverse . It will better help us to determine what's going on with that coin . From the little that I can see , your coin is worn with some damage . It also looks like it was cleaned long ago and someone started to artificially tone it . I'm giving this assessment because a worn circulated War Nickel virtually never turns a rainbow color .
