$493. This coin had a tiny mintage of 62,600. Thoughts? Thanks!

I think this would just barely sneak into AU-50 by the skin of it's teeth, however the rim problem gives it a details designation. It also possibly had a cleaning in the past but has been well covered by patina if it has.

Regardles its a very attractive coin, probably was a very well struck example

More than likely this coin has seen the grading services and was detailed.

I think it has had some rim repairs to try and straighten out the damage caused when it was dropped. The reeding and rim appears to have been filed.

It's a details coin and always will be. Still very collectible.

I'll say AU-50 sharpness, but tell us more about the rim issue.

AU-50, details from the rim dent, and the surfaces look previously cleaned.

with Zurie. i'd say the price is pretty good as its a good 50% discount over retail if it makes AU. if it comes in at XF45 then...not so good

Thanks to all for sharing your thoughts. I'll post about the rim when I have it in hand. Some of these are so crusty that you can't tell what the original design looked like. I saw it and liked the look of the coin.

AU-50 details, rim damage/cleaned. Looks like they used a file to try to smooth out the rim bump.

This came in and it could hardly have been better. Rim bump is minor and hardly visible. Happy to be the new owner. Thoughts? Thanks!

Not my kind of coin.

(referring to the surfaces and such, I actually really like Seated dollars dispite only seeing photos of them)

But its still a nice coin Regardless, and if you're happy then that's really the most important thing.
Also just looked at the NGC price guide, and it looks like you got a good deal as well.

My grade stands, AU-50 details, rim damage/cleaned. That rim has been repaired.
