Looks genuine to me. Can't see any areas of concern although pic is a bit small.

Ask the seller for a better pictures.

I looked at some of his other items and he does know how to put up enlarged images, so why did he NOT do it with this coin?

If better pictures can't be provided I'd shop elsewhere.

Agree - larger pics would help.

Fair question to be asked.
Looks OK in these pictures,
BUT
the Chinese are getting very good at making fakes of these.

Also,
needs high magnification of the date area, to check for date alteration.

I don't like the look of the "CO mmon WE alth " inscription nor possibly the " E " of p E nny.

It's quite easy to compare this 1925 penny with any of the many other 1925 penny listings which enables potential buyers to more accurately assess if the coin is " kosher " by providing much larger and clearer photos.

I certainly wouldn't buy it . If in doubt.....forget it. .

minkersta depends on person tho, yes and there are fakes out there. If you want to have the assurance of the bigger dealer than you probably have to pay a premium of 40%-30%. There are cheaper ones from time to time.

That looks okay however would need better images before deciding to buy. People who arent collectors might not understand this and just throw low resolution images of rare coins (or semi key date) on so that decision to purchase coin is for the collector where it real or not, thinking it means that they are absolve for selling something fake.

To help compare general die characteristics other than date,
compare the coin in question with a known genuine example shown on Google Images.
