Hello everyone! Got a few rolls of wheat pennies from ebay and decided to go through and cherry pick them. Wasn't expecting to find anything really, and I know key dates always get pulled out, but when I saw this coin under the scope....I was speechless...

It is beat up and not in the best shape, but you can definitely see the doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST and parts of LIBERTY....considering this is my first DDO ever, I'll take it!

Based on what I've seen, It appears to match the FS-101!

That's a nice DDO! I would love to see the full images of the obverse and reverse if possible.

Did anyone note the R on Liberty?
Did anyone note the rotation of the DDO?
If you have, you would come to a different conclusion.
Look again.

The R is damaged in Liberty, but there is clear doubling on the Y and especially on IN GOD WE TRUST.The rotation of the DDO is noted in the FS-101 examples. Compare mine with the example from Variety Vista.

But the 'R' is not damaged? It is an issue with a broken hub. Which dies shows this? Trying to encourage investigative spirit.
