Need to know the weight in grams, to two decimal points, to confirm if wrong planchet or not.

With those circular scratches and flared edge, that is not a wrong planchet error but rather an early stage Dryer Coin.

Agree with PMD. Question;how could it be a wrong planchet in the first place? Did the U.S. mint make coins for another country that year?

Note how the flattening occurred on the edge of the coin. Now the edge is wider, and the circumference is smaller. Altered coin.

We probably did, but there are only two countries that have used copper nickel clad copper planchets the US and Pananma, and we struck the Pamana coins on US planchets (10, 25, and 50 C, same size for both countries)

Definitely a Dryer Coin. Flared edges don't happen on a wrong planchet error.
