SeanGon USSID and john1 ID'd your coin correctly, it is just worth the face value.

Machine doubling. RPMs stopped in 1990. I would find it hard to spend up to $50 for a coin to be graded that is worth face value. But hay, that's just me. Even some coins that were very nice, still cost more than they are worth, to have them graded. Only high dollar coins should be submitted. Grading a face value coin would just be worth face value. I pay nothing extra for a graded coin. (Zero extra) So the cost of grading fees on a slabbed coin is lost when you go to sell them. My Motto: Buy the coin, not the plastic. Even grading companies make mistakes.

coop, some people need to spend that $50 to be able to learn the lesion. AKA the School of Hard Knocks. Not every coin is an error coin. But hey, what do I know?

@SeanGon next time, send it to John Wexler instead. It will only cost you $4 + shipping, and he'll actually tell you if it's any doubled die variety or even create a new listing if it's an undiscovered variety. He'll then send you a letter that can be submitted to grading services along with the coin if it is. This one certainly is not, but at least you'll only have wasted a few bucks and will actually get a learning experience out of it. Grading companies will only attribute certain major, listed varieties for the most part, so even if this had been an undiscovered DDO, they would have just sent it back in a plastic holder with a grade and no variety attribution. Not a good use of $50. If you want to get rid of money, donate it to your local food bank for covid relief efforts.

Anyhow thanks all I really do appreciate it. You just don't want to listen or acknowledge what we told you. Fine, go right ahead and waste 50.00 getting it graded (which you did). Fifty dollars isn't nothing etheir. That's a lot of money to be spending on a face value coin. We are here to learn, not to push people's button period. You'll be very disappointed and upset when you get it back. And the last thing I am going to say is, if you actually appreciated our help, you would listen to us and wouldn't be sending it in to a TPG!

I think OP meant he's the "button pusher" as in a person of action, not bragging about pushing our buttons, E&V. But yes, agree with you that if he actually valued the input he would listen. This isn't a borderline case where it could be and could not, but a very cut and dry example of MD.

Agreed SamCoin. I get what you're saying. I was just very frustrated with the OP.

On the 1969-S there were 133 submissions with Machine Doubling on what people thought they had the big DDO. They were graded, not at a DDO, but as a normal coin. Some have the Value listed at $8 for their Expense of sending it in, grading fees and insurance. https://www.PCGS.com/cert/27196991

I realize they stopped hand punching the MM in 1990 but that sure is an interesting "horn" hooking south coming off the middle of the MM.
It sure is one heck of an interesting die gouge.
