Hello. I couldnt find any conclusive information on this paticular type of coin. I found a few simalur ones but they range form one dollar to 1,000. What aspect besides the avalibility make the price flucuate so drasticly? Thanks for reading my post and I'm looking forward to your replies!

Well for one thing, you would be looking for the doubled dies.

Another is in condition, if they were in amazing condition, they would fetch a high price, sadly yours is not.

Can you explain what you believe the error or variety to be? It's only worth $.25 unless you can identify something about it that's different from every other quarter minted that year.

Circulation flattening affects the coin by flattening the devices when used in vending machines. You coin is worth that it says on the back of the coin. It is not a high dollar coin.

Ill explain a little more.so where the (I) would be it looks like its another N making the N look more like a w.The overall look of the rest of the coin also doesn't match up with is being worn down. If it were just worn in that spot would it look like that? IDK. Ill send a better picture also that shows the way the lettering on the back got pressed down making indents and ridges consistent of a uniform circle also mushing all the spaces of the A to close together. I can also very faintly see an outline of the number 7 in front of the seven in the date.

Sorry, Illy, none of the things you're describing sound like they would be errors. It's just a circulated quarter.
