1972 LMC DDO Question

Now I know this date is known for it's enlarging of devices.

But especially "WE" and the D in "GOD", in IGWT seems to have some type of doubling going on.

Thoughts? Again I know that the DDOs in 1972 cents are much easier and extreme than this, but still, I am seeing something here and I'm unsure of what it is.

Ah another case of master die doubling! Next time I really need to check that before I post another topic of a doubled die unless I'm 99% sure.

Also the devices are smaller as the die was over polished. but it is a Master die doubling example. Very common. 50% of the coins is probably that year from all three mints were affected. Very common to find. What you need to look for on the dates is the shape of the '9'.

Look for these instead. Note the arrows on the '9's.

Thank you Coop, so you're saying that where the arrows are pointed, there is almost like a little notch, making the circle of the 9, less like a circle.
