Fairly weak box overall. About 10-15 extra thickness DDOs on some Lincoln shield cents, 23 minor doubled columns in the center bay, an okay-ish die clash, and a possible DDO-002 on a 1996 that may or may not be legit (very late die state if it is with a lot of the lower relief areas polished away). So until I eventually send that off to Wexler to give the final word, this nice die chip is the find of the box. Pretty happy with it though, it's in excellent shape and I love these large die chips in the memorial bays. Edited by SamCoin 05/02/2020 9:35 pm

Nice one @sc. we usually give these the nickname "hornet's nests", but this one is perhaps too large for that moniker.

Sounds like a pretty good box to me! Great finds! I look forward to seeing what Wexler will say about the 1996. -CH27

Oh sorry, kind of glazed over the top of what you said.
If that box is considered weak to you, man, I would LOVE to hear about what a good box is for you!

@CH27 The extra thickness DDOs are pretty boring/minor to the point where I can really only tell they're a variety when I have a normal version of the coin handy to compare against, and the doubled columns seem to be about a dime a dozen from my limited experience. Sadly, what I thought could have been the find to make the box (the 1996) was mostly dismissed here. I'm still not 100% convinced it isn't and may submit it to Wexler, but I say 'fairly weak" because there was no real standout find. Had a ton of fun hunting, though!

Haha Thanks SilverCents, I am quite new to coin roll hunting, so I could have unreasonable expectations. I found a 1922 D in my first box when I tried for the first time about a year ago, a 1996 FS-101 when I did my second box two weeks ago, and then had no real knockout find this time, so it felt comparatively weak. Perhaps I've just been spoiled!

Wow! That's quite impressive! I only started CRHing 2 years ago. Right now in fact I'm doing my first box, and it's going pretty good!
Last night I found 3 minor DDRs in the span of 15 minutes so that was certainly interesting. Currently about half done, I like to spend my time doing this, especially during isolation, so I've been going very slowly, looking at each coin under a microscope carefully.
Keep it coming!
