When the die cracks are contained on Abe's head, we usually call it a "cracked skull". When they leave his head for the rim then it is a spike head. (All unofficial nicknames of course).

It's not a spiked head. Looks like an interior die break.

This is a spiked head. The die crack needs to go from the head to the rim.
