All the details look pretty sharp to me. I can see it being MS too, Adam.

I don't know nickles at all, but I buy Dollars mostly at ebay and have gotten pretty good at judging a coin from bad pictures, so with that said, you be the judge here. I took your pictures and manipulated them with sizing, clarity, and brightness. I'm no expert so I'm only posing a question. Are the lines running from SW to NE on the reverse and NW to SE on the obverse signs of cleaning or are they just flow lines in the metal from the original strike?

When I first saw the original pictures I wondered if they were somehow taken to show
the coin in a favorable light. The manipulation shows this to be even more suspect.
The nickel is uncirculated but with potential issues.

Thanks guys! I actually ended up getting it for $200, I submitted an offer last night and it got accepted, seller accepts returns so if there's obvious issues that were hidden I can return it. Of course I will be updating this when I get the coin!

Looks high MS. I just bid on a 65 that looks similar, but photos can lie...

I can see three possible areas on the obverse with very light wear (marked on a copy of your obverse photo, below). If so, it is a fantastic AU-58.

I don't see any downside to this coin. Your purchase price would be very close to Greysheet for an AU-58, and this coin has tremendous eye appeal.

Though call from these photos. Possibly MS but like Frog said, no less than AU-58. A beauty.

received this coin today, a bit disappointed but not a huge deal. A lot of you were right, the surfaces seem pretty dead, I'm not seeing much of any cartwheel effect on it at all. I'm guessing it was probably dipped out. I will try and get some photos when I get home from work tonight

Here's some quick pics I took, sorry for the poor quality, I'm still trying to make a good setup here.

There was also a nice long light scratch right in front of liberty's face that wasn't evident:

in spite of the issues, it looks nice. no way you could have known about the issues from the pics. catch and release is part of the process sometimes.

for what you paid, it is clearly a return to sender.

If this was $100 you would have gotten a screaming deal. What was paid I would send it back. It's not a bad coin, it's very nice but I wouldn't pay more than $150 for this coin.
