I don't see a Blakesley Effect, but not all do. I agree that seeing a pic of the clipped edge would be useful.

i am in the no camp, I am see no dovetailing, at the edges of the clip..but, by no means an expert on clips.

It's not fake, it's legitimate. Note how "IN GOD WE TRUST" is weakly struck with metal flow? A fake clipped planchet wouldn't show this.

Yes Coop, as in, when I place a nickel's rounded edge to it, it fits in.

As E&V notes, the devices (specifically the OD and E T) show all you need to see to know it's a legit clip.
