Any help with this Lincoln Penny error. I don't have much experience at this, but does this look weird enough to be excited?

Die Deterioration is the culprit. The ring around the cent is called a Ridge Ring associated with Die Deterioration.

No. The "doubling" is from the Die Deterioration.

It is what happens when the single squeeze dies start to breakdown, showing there age.

Note on these, the affected areas are on the fields. We call that DDD. ( Die Deterioration Doubling) Not a doubled die, but a die wear issue.

I can't seem to decipher the difference that everyone seems to see. IG this takes practice cause the DDD and DD both look the same to me.

What if this were an actual DD. Would anyone have an idea of what the approx value would increase to?
