I found a decent condition 1977 LMC with some doubling on the motto. It can't be DDD cuz it's not towards the rim and it can't be MD because it's not on both sides of the devices. But hey, I could be wrong. Can you guys help me? Thanks.

The bottoms of the motto is showing Machine Doubling pushing upwards. On the '77' on the date if is on the inside of the devices which might be a die polishing reduction on those devices. Any reduction on the fields will show up on the coins as a light raised area. If it were a doubled die, it would be usually as tall as the other devices and make the devices wider/taller/show notches. Not seeing that on your coin.
