This is the coin in comparison to the vf30 plate coins in photograde. I think mine looks better.

I'm in at EF40 - nice coin. Yeah the pics could be a little better but not that bad.

Some prominent obverse hits, but great surfaces. Beautiful reverse. Looks AU to me. Thoughts?

Hate to be a naysayer, but I think this is AU details (gouges). I don't see this in a straight holder.

i disagree. they look like hits and not gouges. hits don't detail a coin. I don't see this in a details holder.

Looks like AU-53 sharpness, but with the heavy contact marks and the surface irregularity on the reverse (planchet defect?), I would say AU-50 straight.

The gouges, or call them what you will, are the first thing you see when you look at this coin - you never even get to the rest of it.

If you bought this from the pics you originally posted, you must surely be disappointed.
