1945 d Mercury dime , has tone and looks like band is very lite. Need opinions on the grade and the band. I do not think the tone hurts this coin only adds beauty. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day.
Sincerely Bob

Can't get a good feel for the surfaces from these pics because of the toning. Any grade would just be a guess.

to the CCF!

It is not s split band. The line should be clear across the torch.

In the 2X2, it would be impossible to grade. You might check on the Grading forum with images with out the holder.

The way it's toned is a plus from this eye of the beholder.
Love the dark hues and I imagine there is vibrant luster that you couldn't quite capture in your pics?

Questionable FB? I think it's close but it looks like some bridge especially in the middle portion.
Even if it's not an FB, what a nice coin that rivals some of the best toned coins you see on the PCGS site.
Lets face it, natural toned coins have a great appeal to a certain audience that will fork out the bigger bucks as opposed to a dime like this that may grade the same without the toning. I like toned coins to a certain degree and this is one (that for me) is an eye catcher.
What will it grade? I will give it an overall MS65 with possibly a (plus+)
Be a proud-papa on this coin...they don't come along too often anymore on the market...harder to find in a raw state.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
Rest in Peace

Even with that dark toning it looks like an MS-65 . Though I'm not a fan of the toning .

With these pics, my guess would be no FSB. Too blurry.
