The coins are in a poly bags inside a flip and stapled to the certificate. There is a sticker on the flip with a bar code and code that matches the No. on the certificate.

Should I remove the coins from these poly bags or is it better left as is? Are there PVC concerns? The way it is now it is difficult to see the coins clearly.

There are people interested in coin collecting history.
Your items fall into the general category of exonumia.
What you do with them depends upon what you feel about the packaging vs. the coins themselves.

Photos would be nice. Leave them as original. Collectors like originality, including the poly sleeves.

Interesting. I have never seen that packaging before. In what year did anacs use it?

Those were the last variety of ANACS photocertificate. They were used from sometime in 1987 to about August of 1989.

Seeing what the coins are, I would quickly get them into NGC or PCGS slabs.

I wouldnt want to touch these, I would bet the ANACS certification increases the collector value of them significantly
