Minor Doubled Dies have always been a weakness of mine.

I was looking at Wexler's and I came across these:
http://doubleddie.com/828844.html

I'm having a super hard time telling the difference between a DDR and a regular cent.

For instance, with DDR-007 I'm just not seeing any sign of a doubled die. I've read the description and analyzed the photos and I see nothing.

Could I have some help? I'm not satisfied with not knowing, and failing at finding where the doubling is occuring.

Thank you!

These minor 1984 DDRs are both difficult to spot and difficult to photograph.

They typically only show as slight notching on the bottoms of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and sometimes weak separation on the bottom of the U, the horizontal lines of both A's, and the leg of the R.

I personally look at the leg of the R and both A's in AMERICA when looking for these, as those areas tend to show slight Class II doubling the best.

I drew on some arrows to the most noticeable notching and separation on 1984 WDDR-007:

Seems to be most noticeable on the tail of the R and the serifs of the A in the photos.

Oh! Yes indeed it is difficult to spot, but I do see it now.

Thanks so much Tanman for pointing the notching out, I see it now. Wow, these are definitely difficult to spot. My method of just quickly looking at the USA on the reverse without much detail might not be the best idea now that I think about it.

And thank you for that comment Sam.

Again thank you, this is all I needed and it does indeed help greatly.

1984 1˘ WDDO-007
Description: A spread towards the center shows on the date and the right side of the bottom of the bust.

You didn't see the doubling on the date? '9' is enlarged and the '8' on the right side of that digit. The shadows hide it a bit.
Looks a bit like this one, but this ones a Denver. Just to show What stands out to me.

Coop I meant the DDRs, not the DDOs.

Haha it's all in the title and the original post.
