This is an 1895-O recently offered on ebay.
NGC Grade of AU-58. $4,750 Sold for "Best Offer"

This is an 1895-O offered by Heritage Auctions in 2004.
PCGS Grade of AU-58. Sold for $4,750 less buyer's premium.

Do NGC and PCGS have different grading standards?
Has 15 years made a difference?
Or am I seeing things?

No comments on the grade, but the first one is definitely a weak strike.

First one is AU-58. Second is probably AU-58 as well, but the photos are way too small and not nearly detailed enough to assess grade.

Do you think the quality of photographs and equipment has advanced any since 2004....can we take that into consideration?......

Forget the 2004 example... the NGC ebay piece, weak strike aside, ain't the world's most spectacular 58.
