Hi,
It's tough to see in the picture but the word GOD on your coin has to match this one exactly. It can't be close, it has to be 110% identical....
Thanks,
Bill

JP:
As Bill said, it has to match his picture.
Can you get a closeup on the "GOD" to check?

I've been looking at the 82 for small dates. It looks as tho they're harder to come by than the large date.

Very nice!

? How do you post a pic so it displays on the post and allows you to click to enlarge?

I've only been able to post the link to the pic.

Thanks,
Bill

Homiegrubbs,

You don't do anything with the picture. If your picture is larger than some limit set by the forum with respect to the screen size of an image, the picture will be posted at a smaller size.

If the picture is smaller than the preset limit, the picture will post at the size that you sent it.

You may notice pictures with a "perforated" look to the edge. They are the ones that you can click on and they will get bigger.

A picture , like mine that has a straight edge will not get larger if it is clicked on.

I usually resize my pictures to fit the forum so most of my pics will come out with a straight edge.

So...There is nothing to do. it depends on the size of the picture when it is sent and then the forums "program" does the rest.

Thanks,
Bill

Hey Bill...little secret...I didn't need to blow the pic up - the letters were way too wide to be normal even if I couldn't see the separation lines. Generally those who don't know doubled dies and report them on 1982 cents are seeing the normal class 6-ish appearance of the motto, but it affects only the height of the letters - not the width. Onle this genuine doubled die could have lettering that wide.

Hi Chuck,

What you described was what I was seeing. Thanks, I knew that appearance of the letters being wider was on this coin too. I just didn't want to attribute it since I really couldn't see it the way I like to see it:-)

My eyes are getting worn out and I was posting at a late hour:-)

Thanks Again My Friend,

Bill

Nice find JP324. Can I ask how you spotted this coin. Where you using a loupe, or was it spotted by eye. From a bank roll? Very nice!

mikep,
I use a 14x loupe when searching, I also use a digital scope for higher magnification and picture taking. The 82' was from a roll.
Thank's to all who have commented.
