I have a 1943/1942, and the 1945 DDR, I don't have the middle one you asked about. These images are only for use on the forum and not for any other use.

Thanks,
Bill

The link provided by Wheezydog for a 1945 DDR (On ebay) takes you to a coin that is NOT the DDR.

Thanks,
Bill

Hey wheezydog, no problemo. I knew I had pictures of circulated examples from coins that I had found in the past.

As A PS: The guy that has these coins for sale calls them double die coins.

Anybody who does not know the correct terminology is not going to have his listings as being 100% accurate.

I agree on his newly listed 1964 but I thought the 45 looked pretty good. Now I must take a better image of mine. LOL! Thanks

Thanks all for the help but I am still confused
about them all. Except maybe the 43/2 Are the diags. the north doubling on the one ? plus west on the 4 plus what looks like a chip
or maybe crack on the outer end of lower loop of 3 ?
Is that all the diags. for the overdate ? i.e.: obv. and or rev.
the FS-029 I cannot recognize anything unusual.
45-P DDR not sure ? last O in monticello ? only diag. ?

Wheezydog,

So that we are clear, your coin IS a 1945 DDR

The one on ebay that is slabbed (not labeled as a DDR on the slab) listed as a 1945 DDR is NOT:-)

Thanks,
Bill

Bill, I looked again at it and it could just be Machine Doubling on the ebay 45 P, most noticable on the last letter o in monticello.
I think you are correct and on the ball.
Thanks for the clarification. ..... and a tip on a seller.

Thank's, never really paid much attention to these over the years.
Wish now I had looked furthur. Had recently picked up 3 rolls of them and wanted to double check before offing them. Interesting though, I found a 43-S that looked very simlilar to the 43/2

See if you still have that 43 S, the overdate was never recorded for that date.

But, you never know.

During the mid-1970's I found an unusual War Nickel.
I showed it to about 6 or more coin dealers who saw nothing.
I thought that it was a 43/2. But, all I got was there is no listing for that.
I put it aside, went back to college and years later found that it was then a known variety.

Like I said, you never know.
