Does anyone have pricing information for GMM 1796 gold proofs? I have checked ebay sold prices and searched the web, but have not been able to find anything.

Is the value just the gold or is there a premium?

A collectors' bullion coin, but an interesting one. I can understand why a premium for these should exist, but
a bullion dealer would only offer melt value on a buy back. For this reason, best re sold on the secondary market via ebay.
