1964 Roosevelt Dime Error? Questions..help Needed

Rosalita Valued Member United States 96 Posts	Posted 05/23/2020 12:44 pm Hi guys, I am new to coin collecting. Can someone help me determine what is going on with this 1964 Roosevelt dime. I noticed on the Obverse of this coin that the 'God' and 'Trust' seems to look to have doubled die and also possibly on the '9' and '6' in the date. Is this correct or is it just my eyes fooling me? I also noticed that there is a slight crack to the right above Roosevelt's head running thru his head. Is this called a die break or crack? Lastly why is the 'In' and 'WE' completely worn down? Is this from normal circulation? Your comments are greatly appreciated to help me learn and understand more about the Coin World. Thanks very much! But on the V.V. site you might see if they match up to these or not? http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...s%201964.htm (The doubling must be a match on all the same devices. If the devices are reduced in size it could be Machine Doubling.) Just can't tell much for sure from the images provided. Need to be closer: More in this range. Report this Post to the Staff
