V.V was a few listed for that year/mint, but the location of the mintmark doesn't seem to match them: http://www.varietyvista.com/12%20Ke...201968-D.htmWexler's page is not responding right now. So it does appear to show the attributes of a doubled die, just not sure which one it is though.

Coop Wexler doesn't even have a page for 1968 doubled dies from any mint on his website. Looks like it could possibly be a new discovery piece?

You can clearly see the separation lines so this is a true DDO. Look at the N in IN

I wonder if it is a master die issue. There have been some though the years on the halves. Hang on to it for now and see what comes up on Wexler's site.
