Hi all,
Quick question, where can you get CU current notes? My bank generally gets wrapped notes but they are rarely CU, mostly circulated. I asked about ordering and they can't guarantee a CU bundle. I was able to get the current 2017 $20 from the MAC and the $10 I got when $200 in $10 at the bank but I can't get a CU $5? I got over $200 and all are floppy.

I usually get CU notes off of ebay. Of course you're going to pay extra for the convenience but if you shop around you can usually find them for a few bucks over face. If you end up buying multiples that can help with shipping costs. |

My experience at banks has been hit-and-miss. I order packs of $2's from my credit union and sometimes they're uncirculated and sometimes not. When they are circulating notes, I take them to a different branch in my city and deposit them. I've had better luck with the larger banks.

I may have to break down and buy one online. Unless someone has a CU current $5 note they want to sell me :)

Also hit up banks/ credit unions around Christmas time, they usually
carry some BU stuff for stocking stuffers, etc. I've been able to get
$1, $2, $20 and $100 CU BEP strapped bundles.
