Can anybody help identify this coin? I see that quite a few Chinese provinces used "Tai Ching Ti Kuo" on their coins, so I have had a difficult time pinpointing what province and date this coin is. Thanks for the help!

Looks like Feng Tien, a somewhat rarer province for this type I think.

Except, as you can see at the bottom of the Chinese inscription, this is actually a 20 cash coin, not a 10 cash. So it would be this coin.

The mintmark, on this coinage series, is the incuse character stamped into the central disc on the Chinese-language side. "Tai Ching Ti Kuo" is an old Anglicization of the characters #22823;#28152;#24093;#22283;, which in modern Chinese Anglicization are "Da Qing Digou", translating to "Great Qing (Dynasty) Empire". So it is in effect just the name of the country.

Thanks Sap! I should have included a weight and diameter, but, comparing the measurements with the above websites and the Krause catalog, it is a 20 cash. Thanks again. Very cool

indeed SAP that's the coin, I believe its one of the harder ones to find nice condition usually much more worn or dinged up.

Wow. That's easily a 100 dollar coin. Haven't been keeping up with prices but I'm certain it's around there. Looks genuine as well.

The date on the coin is 1907.
The province is Fengtien.
