So Lincoln has a mole on his chin. It's an outty not an inny, so not a bent or divot.

I promise I'm almost through the 60 1937 P LWC in were the bag.

That is damage on the jaw. It is showing metal movement. PSD
Took a second look. The first image appeared that the area to the right of the chip was lower as it was lighter in color like a scrape on a coin can alter the metal. But taking a look at the second image, I doesn't show that. It is a die chip. I agree it is an odd area to have a die chip, but if the die breaks down, then it opens a void on the die, leaving the rest of that dies like creating a die chip on the same area.

Interesting Coop, I would've made the mistake of thinking this was a die chip as well. Can you elaborate?

(I deleted my post thinking it was a die chip because I hate giving others false information).

Well, when I zoom in on it, it sure does look like a die chip to me...From the photo, I'm going with die chip and sticking to it...I'll let the poster decide

Looking at it with a loop its a significantly a hill of metal with no depressions on any side (looks like an island sticking out of the sea, not a moat and bailey). I don't see anywhere for that much metal to come from. There is some wear on the surface since its the highest point on the chin.

Maybe a drop of copper dripped onto the coin post mint? That's the only idea I can come up with for post mint.

I don't know...that does look like a die chip from those photos. And if you say there are no depressions of any kind...

I'm thinking die chip but Coop is saying otherwise so I'll wait.

Very odd location for a die chip.

I edited the information on the first post. But if searching 1937 what cents, we might find more examples of this die chip. No premium for this. But things happen to dies.
