thanks! I obviously don't grade these right at all so I am going to post the rest of the good ones as well. I had this marked as ef. Are there any years that are more weakly struck than others?

MS-63 , shy of full bands but a nice coin .

The bands show flatness across the tops that is why the center shows so shallow .

many of these coins are a little bit light on the strike , that is the reason that the full bands carry a premium , so you will find softly struck incomplete struck coins in just about all the years , with the 45-P being the year with the weakest reverses , and full bands are almost non existent for that year and mint .

I'm not so sure this wouldn't be a full-bands coin. Ideally, the center bands should not only be fully separated with a distinct division line between them, but should also be "rounded" (three-dimensional) rather than flat. This coin appears to have full separation for the center bands as well as the upper and lower bands. The center bands are flat rather than rounded but they may be close enough. There is a tiny dent at the left end of the center band separation which might be a negative factor when deciding whether to award the FB grade.

This dime does not appear to have much luster. That would be the grade-limiting factor, IMO. With the overall dull appearance I'd guess it could grade MS-63 at best.

thank you for grading. I think I have a lot left to learn because I figured the toning and dirt makes the grade a lot lower. I need much more practice with these.
