Recent acquisition.

Note: White line between the wheat stalks is on the NGC holder.

Nice in hand pics! I'll refrain from saying anything as I saw your text about 20 mins ago. A bit late on the die state but nice buy at what you paid!

No opinion on the grade, but your coin may be 1909-S RPM-002 (FS-1502).

Very nice example. A close-up of the mint mark would be fun.
Rest in Peace

MS-64RB . You mentioned a line between the wheat stalks ? But what is that line on obverse from the rim down his fore head to his eye ?

Nice coin! Like it as a 64 but PCGS probably gave it a 63.

If the die state were a bit better, I think it would have been an easy 65, regardless, great looking coin!! Congrats

I don't get what people are saying about the die state. Whenever you can see the triangle of the bowtie, the complete shirt color; and the two vertical lines on the face from the forehead, that is an early die state. No question.

You lose that triangle very early on. While not very early die state it is still an early die state.

I agree, and different standards of grading for different dates known for mushyness gets me as well.
