1924S/S 1c ( LWC) WRPM-001, 1MM-001, RPM-001 Stage B
Won this 1924s earlier this month and was pleased when it turned out to be WRPM-001 like I thought I saw in the sellers images.
I'm not sure how hard this one is to come by but I don't remember one being posted before.
This is MDS, Stage B, (after the reverse die was changed out).
The earlier Stage has gnarly die cracks on the reverse die. This may have been why there wasn't much competition for it if people were looking for the die crack markers.

Enjoy and thanks for looking. PP55

Have you searched within CFF pages? Upper left hand side of every CFF page there is a search box, offering plenty of great info in there for you! Everything is completely free to us, and there is a wealth of information within our pages. Why NOT try it?

Thank you Merclover. The list does seem to confirm this variety isn't posted very often.(The DDO many times and other regular examples in the list.)

I haven't been successful very often using the search feature. I'm sure it may have to do with filters but whenever I try, I may get a couple. Maybe I'm too specific about the variety or error when searching.

How specific does the search criteria need to be?

EDIT- Now I see that I need to scroll down past the adds when doing a search. I always saw the adds and thought that was what the search produced in that area of the site.

The 1924S-1MM-001 is the same as WRPM-001 (CC shows a full digit view that Wexler doesn't show)

The MM location is the same as the RPM-001

Coop, Thanks for posting the link to CC.
I forgot all of the links and it's a nice reference for people to see known markers, like the reverse die being changed out, for Mid Die State coins.
DD has different markers mentioned and few images but the placement looks good.

When I use the initials for Variety Vista, I use instead of the VV (which looks like a 'W'), I type V.V instead. That makes it less than thinking Wexler's site when it looks like a 'W'.

These are not entirely rare, but it's not on many hit lists as not real strong (although quite wide). I see them on ebay once in a while while cherrypicking and find them searching on occasion. Gotta be a real nice coin before these drive any real sale price, but a very nice RPM in my opinion.

Trouble is that a 24-S in real nice condition has a price tag on it. Most RPMs on low mintage coins add almost no value as the coin itself is what drives the price and the RPM can even lower the value of top coins as top collectors don't want distractions on their coins.

You've got a super example of the RPM, and well done! Hope this all makes sense as long day and just trying to check the board as haven't had time to do so lately.

Thanks Coop for the V V help because that is so true. It happens with my email that starts out with mrn... , so I usually type MrN...

Thanks TB and yes what you posted is very understandable. In this case the secondary MM is pretty light but looked like many of the early RPM's that were to the south. If there had been any kind of hit or nicks in the area, I would probably have passed.
