As the weight is correct, I would compare the thickness to a genuine piece. If the diameter and thickness are correct, it's probably good. Base metal forgeries of silver coins are almost invariably less dense, and this is usually apparent from the increased thickness.

@Zurie, I agree with your response. I'm simply not sure about this one. The difference in the details makes me cautious, though. Raw Trades are always risky (and even certified Trades aren't always a sure thing).

doesn't feel right, just because there are a ton of fake trade $1 out there. highly recommend getting this certified.

The "repaired" designation wasn't on my radar, but certainly would explain the apparent discrepancies. Thanks for posting the update! Glad it came back authenticated.

Thanks for the update! Definitely wasn't 100% on genuine, but was leaning more that way. Also did not see the "repaired" coming. Still trying to spot the repair.....
