Obverse has STATE letters below the bust. Maybe check out the date also. Reverse has clash under STATE of bottom of bust. Also Black circle you can see the date 60 pretty good under E. Red arrow points to the D mint under the D. The yellow arrow pointing to the fold from jacket. Wow sorry for all that. Thank you for looking. Report this Post to the Staff

The mint originally claimed that the reason the master die was switched to the large date (the small date master hub was made and put into production first) was that the last two digits of the date kept chipping out. However the article reveals the most likely true reason why the master dies were switched out. Vertical Misaligned Die Clashes.
